It may not feel like it, but it won’t be long until we’re turning our backs on winter and embracing the warmth and colours of spring. Join us for a refreshing Spring Walk to blow away the winter cobwebs and soak up the beauty of an array of glorious flowers at Highgrove Gardens.
As spring arrives, the Gardens at Highgrove awaken from their winter rest to reveal their vibrant colours and beautiful fragrances. From the serene Stumpery to the captivating Kitchen Garden, each area of the garden will be filled with bulbs, buds and blossom as they welcome in the new season.
A rainbow of colours from soft blue camassias and cheery yellow primroses and cowslips, to amazing azaleas and elegant tulips, will be on show throughout the gardens. With numerous varieties throughout the garden, the one flower which rises above the rest is, of course, the majestic daffodils, with their sunny faces brightening up even the dullest day.
The 75-minute tours are hosted by one of Highgrove Gardens experienced garden guides, who are full of insight, and tales of how the gardens have developed over the last 25 years. After the tour, stop by the Orchard Tea Room for a warming cup of tea and slice of cake, and the Estate Shop where you’ll find an array of seasonal plants, beautiful home and garden ware, and many other artisan products from around the UK, including pieces that have been designed exclusively for Highgrove.
