From the South 

Take the A433 road north-east towards Tetbury, passing Westonbirt Arboretum and the Hare and Hounds Hotel on the left.

On approaching Doughton there are two road signs indicating a “concealed entrance” and a 30-mph speed restriction zone. Immediately after the signs take the next small, unmarked entrance on the left which Highgrove Gardens shares with Street Farm Workshops.

From the North 

From the centre of Tetbury head south-west on the A433 signposted to Bath and Westonbirt Arboretum. Pass Tetbury Parish Church on the left and follow the road for two miles until you reach Doughton. Continue along the road past the closed iron gates on the right and follow the long, high stone wall to where it finishes.

Immediately afterwards, and before the sign that indicates that the 30-mph speed restriction zone is coming to an end, turn into the small, unmarked entrance on the right which Highgrove Gardens shares with Street Farm Workshops.

Public Transport

There is no regular public transport from Tetbury town centre to Highgrove Gardens. It is just two miles from Tetbury to the Estate, but there is no proper public footpath.

Taxis

Taxis are available locally, but you will need to pre-book both your arrival and departure journeys. Allow three to four hours in total for your visit. Garden Tours are usually 1½ hours long, and guests may spend additional time visiting the Orchard Room and Estate Shop.
